GCSE Results 2025

2025 saw a continuing set of impressive results achieved by our students. This was the first of two cohorts that have no prior attainment scores and as a result, we cannot publish any official figures regarding progress. However, this year group was always held in high regard as one that made significant progress throughout their time at De La Salle. The change in grade boundaries also continues to present its challenges but one our students were able to meet across the curriculum. It was particularly pleasing to see two students reflect impressive academic success by gaining an average points score over 8.0. This was just one example of the success that was achieved through the hard work and dedication of students and staff alike.

The school achieved an attainment score of 41.7. The percentage of students that achieved 9-4 in both English and Maths was 56.6% and for grades 9-5 this was 39.5%.

The average point score for students entered for the English Baccalaureate (Ebacc) was 3.74 and the number of students entered for the Ebacc itself remains high at 58.6%.

As a direct consequence of this, students were able to both celebrate their success and accept offers for their next place of study. Congratulations and well done.
