GCSE Results 2026

2026 saw an amazing set of results achieved by our students. This was the second of two cohorts that have no prior attainment scores and as a result, we cannot publish any official figures regarding progress. However, this year group has clearly shown why it was held in such high estimation as one that could go on to achieve remarkable results… and they did. This is highlighted by the fact that four students gained an average point score over 8.0. This was just one example of the success that was achieved through the hard work and dedication of students and staff alike.

The school achieved an attainment score of 41.7. The percentage of students that achieved 9-4 in both English and Maths was 56.6% and for grades 9-5 this was 39.5%.

The average point score for students entered for the English Baccalaureate (Ebacc) was 4.27, the highest for some time. The number of students entered for the Ebacc itself remains high at 71.3%.

As a direct consequence of this, students were able to both celebrate their success and accept offers for their next place of study. Congratulations and well done.
